Our return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since you received your product, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

Order Cancellations (Within 24 Hours)

If you change your mind within 24 hours of placing your order (on weekdays), we will issue a full refund immediately.

Orders are processed only 24 hours after they are placed, allowing us to correct any errors or changes requested by customers. After this period, if the order has been processed, we can no longer issue a refund due to a change of mind until the product has been delivered, received, and returned to the designated address.


Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. It must also be returned in its original packaging at your expense to the return address we will provide.

Certain types of products cannot be returned:

  • Intimate or sanitary products
  • Gift cards

To process a return, we will verify your order using your order number and/or other details used when placing the order (such as your email address).

For your return to be validated, there are two possible options:

  1. We confirm receipt of the package at the return address provided.
  2. You send us proof of return via a scanned receipt or a photo showing the return has been processed to the designated address.
    • In the first case, do not send the package to the manufacturer’s address.
    • In the second case, a postal receipt or shipping ticket will be accepted.

In some cases, we may request that you wait for us to receive the package before proceeding with a refund, as we may need to inspect the item before approving the refund.

If you claim that an item is damaged or defective and request a refund but refuse to provide a photo of the item received, we will require you to return the item to a specific address for inspection.

Once the package is received, a refund will only be issued after inspection. If we determine that the item is in good condition, we will notify you with photo or video evidence and deny the refund request.

We understand that this process may seem strict, but due to past dishonest claims, we can no longer operate on trust alone. We apologize for this inconvenience and strive to handle each return and refund request fairly.


Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will send you an email confirmation of its receipt. You will also be informed of our decision regarding your refund request.

  • If approved, the refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original payment method.
  • The processing time for refunds depends on your bank or payment provider, and we will notify you as soon as we initiate the refund.

Delayed or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card provider, as there may be a processing delay before your refund appears.
  3. Contact your bank, as further processing time may be required before the refund is posted.

If you have completed these steps and still have not received your refund, please email contact@melinn-toronto.com. Our customer service team will verify whether the refund has been processed.


Refunds for Sale Items

If an item was purchased on sale, any refund will be based on the discounted price paid at checkout, not the original full price.


Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same one, please email us at contact@melinn-toronto.com.


Gift Returns

  • If the returned item was marked as a gift and sent directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the return amount. Once we receive the returned item, a gift voucher will be sent to you by email.
  • If the item was not marked as a gift at the time of purchase, or if the gift giver chose to have it shipped to themselves first, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser, who will be informed of the return.

Return Shipping Costs

  • You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning an item.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the return shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
